Chianti Tecnologie has the ISO 9001: 2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certification, therefore it works according to the specifications and procedures proposed by international quality standards. After all, our customers are the major international players in the railway sector and in passenger transport by road. The stringent customer requests concern the materials check, processing procedures, the management of special processes, the 100% testing of outgoing products and, if there are any, the careful and qualified management of non-compliance.
Company Quality and Environmental Policy
Chianti Tecnologie Srl places full customer satisfaction in product realization and service delivery, as well as respect for the environment and pollution prevention, at the core of its strategy. Through the optimization of process management organization and the know-how of its personnel, the Management ensures constant oversight of all activities connected to the quality of services and products, in full compliance with environmental legal requirements. The Management’s commitment in this regard is confirmed by the implementation and actuation of the Integrated Quality and Environmental Management System, which complies with ISO 9001 ed. 2015 and ISO 14001 ed. 2015 standards. Obtaining certification from an accredited third-party body for this system is considered of primary importance.
The Management considers organizational planning strategic, continuously engaging in the involvement, training, and updating of personnel at all levels, both individually and in groups. This also includes sharing the present policy, to promote a genuine customer orientation and achieve predefined objectives.
The Management’s commitment is focused on the following principles:
- Company solidity (revenue and operating profit);

- Compliance with applicable legal requirements and other requirements subscribed by Chianti Tecnologie, concerning the environment and manufactured products;
- Compliance with technical specifications related to railway interoperability as per Directive (EU) 2016/797, where applicable and required;
- Systematic monitoring of the performance and effectiveness of processes and environmental aspects of its activities, with particular reference to management and production activities;
- Prevention of pollution and any potential environmental non-conformity;
- Continuous monitoring and improvement of environmental performance;
- Prevention and reduction of possible environmental risks resulting from new activities, available technologies, and emergency situations;
- Involvement, information, and continuous training of internal personnel and suppliers regarding quality and environment;
- Ability to guarantee the best technological solutions;
- Competence and reliability of suppliers;
- Commitment to systematically monitor the environmental aspects of its activities and the consequent changes to the environment, with particular reference to environmental aspects and impacts deriving from production activities: resource consumption, waste production, noise pollution, prevention of emergencies related to possible soil contamination;
- Continuous improvement of the integrated quality and environmental management system;
- Maintaining open and constructive relationships with Public Administrations, bodies, communities, and individuals who have a legitimate interest in the Company’s environmental performance.
In this regard, the Management, in the spirit of continuous improvement, periodically defines and approves objectives and programs consistent with the principles listed above, according to the following framework:
- Customer satisfaction
- Environmental aspects and impacts
- Product conformity to defined technical and contractual requirements
To verify the regular functioning of the Integrated Quality and Environmental Management System and compliance with this policy, periodic audits are conducted.
Annually, the Management reviews the adequacy of this policy and the Integrated Quality and Environmental Management System, verifying the achievement of annual objectives, the adequacy of resources, and the progress of processes, defining any actions aimed at improvement.
The Company Policy and the principles stated therein are disseminated internally (via posting) and externally to those working on behalf of the organization by publishing it on the company website.
